Meet the Ghee GIrls

We’re Aditi and Katie, college roommates turned co-founders of SayGhee.
From dorm kitchens to NYC apartments, food has always been at the heart of our friendship. As we juggled fast-paced corporate jobs, we became more intentional about how we nourished ourselves, especially what we were cooking with.
That’s when we came back to ghee.
Rooted in Ayurveda and long used in South Asian kitchens, ghee is a lactose-free, anti-inflammatory superfat rich in butyrate, a compound known to support gut health. With a high smoke point and rich, nutty flavor, it’s the upgrade your pantry didn’t know it needed.
But we noticed ghee wasn’t getting the attention it deserved. Most people didn’t know how to use it or why they should. So we created SayGhee: a modern take on this ancient staple. Our jars are bold, beautiful, and made for everyday use, from weeknight dinners to dinner parties.
Our mission is simple: make ghee a staple in American kitchens, just like butter or olive oil. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just learning to fry an egg, SayGhee is here to help you cook with intention, heritage, and flavor.
