Protein Pancakes with Ghee-Sautéed Peaches

A nourishing, protein-packed breakfast starring caramelized peaches sautéed in golden SayGhee — sweet, simple, and oh-so-satisfying.

 

Ingredients:

  • For the Pancakes (Makes ~4 small pancakes / Serves 2):
  • ½ cup rolled oats or oat flour
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Splash of milk or plant-based milk (to adjust consistency)
  • For the Ghee-Sautéed Peaches:
  • 1–2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp SayGhee Original Ghee
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

 

Instructions:

  1. Blend oats, yogurt, egg, baking soda, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Let the batter sit for 5–10 minutes to thicken. Add a splash of milk if needed.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet and lightly grease with SayGhee or oil.
  4. Pour batter to form small pancakes.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side over medium heat, until golden and fluffy.
  6. In a separate pan, melt 1 tsp SayGhee over medium heat.
  7. Add sliced peaches and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  8. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until tender and caramelized. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  9. Stack pancakes on a plate and top with warm ghee-sautéed peaches.
  10. Optional: finish with chopped nuts, chia seeds, or a dollop of yogurt.
